Afghan Hound

The Afghan Hound is a very old sight hound dog breed. Distinguished by its thick, fine, silky coat and its tail with a ring curl at the end, the breed acquired its unique features in the cold mountains of Afghanistan, where it was originally used to hunt wolves, foxes and gazelles. Its local name is Tazi. Other alternate names for this breed are Balkh, Baluchi, Barutzy and Kabul Hound

Great Topic! I own 2 Afghan Hounds "diva" and "Casey". I was finding it hard to find pet supplies online at good prices. One day i was searching in goole and stumbled on My Pet Outlet. I finally found what i was looking for. They had great prices on dog supplies, dog toys and dog collars, just to name a few. This online pet store has free shipping on all orders over $25.00 and they also gave me a coupon code "MYPET" to save 15% on my whole order. I have added these quick links to visit there site. Hope this helps everyone save some money!
